Humor in art

Fredrik Raddum, an artist from Norway, made this humoristic drawing for  Den stora nordiske malebok. A coloring book which I have shown some artwork from before. Fredrik Raddum mainly works with sculptures and installations.

The keywords which describes  Fredrik Raddums art are humor, pop, nature and human. This also applies to this particular drawing, with the dog, the simple lines, the clouds with only one raindrop falling to the ground and the confused man with a face covered in paper.

I like this kind of art, it’s simple and playful. It may seem childish, which is clever, because it makes us think about important topics through play.
